The Beginnings of Pikake Beads: Pikake Beads LLC was started by Jasmin Lee in August of 2003, but Jasmin’s love of beads began long before then. Growing up, Jasmin’s older sister was a bellydancer and beaded extravagant costumes. At the end of a project her sister would give her the leftover beads, which she would then string with dental floss! At 19, with no formal training but due to her jewelry's popularity, Jasmin started selling her jewelry at markets and festivals. In college she honed her skills working at a bead store, which showed her how vast the bead world was and cemented her love for making jewelry with them. She then decided to try her hand at Goldsmithing and Gemology. For 3 years she studied and worked in fine jewelry, but her true love was beading and in 2003 she opened Pikake Beads.

Pikake Beads Today: We started out an outdoor marketplace booth, but we quickly grew into a full service beads store. We carry everything from beads, beading supplies, findings, jewelry and displays. We also provide classes (or affordable custom services) and can host parties for small groups. Most of all, we love providing beads to bead lovers like yourself with our huge selection of beads!
